Horse & Rider Physiotherapy

During a horse and rider assessment you, your horse and your ridden unit will be assessed.

  • Thorough history about your concerns, your medical/injury history and your horses
  • Assessment of you riding your horse doing tasks specific to your concerns 
  • Assessment of your horse moving unridden, and a head to toe assessment of them
  • Assessment of you moving, your posture and relevant muscles/joints

From this assessment treatment is tailored uniquely to you and your horse. This may include manual therapy(massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, mobilisatations, taping, stretching, passive and active range of motion), electrotherapy (TENS, muscle stim), education, and rehab program (including home exercise program) for yourself and your horse.
