Some Common Questions

No. In Australia a referral is not required from your vet to see an animal physiotherapist. However the more information we are able to have in regards to your animal the better it is for their care. We also love to work in collaboration with your treating vet for best care, so may ask if we are able to contact them for more information. We may also send them a physiotherapy report after the session to ensure clear communication through your animals multidisciplinary team.

I am located in Binningup and will come to your home within 40kms without additional travel charge. Servicing the southwest from Waroona to Capel, going inland to Collie and all townsites in-between. I will try and group sessions based on location to minimise travel time.

For dogs we ask that you have lots of tasty treats (of high and low value) to reward them throughout their session. Having something that they can use on a lickimat like peanut butter or prime roll is great too. If a muzzle is something you feel is needed during the session please bring it along. For horses a clean and dry safe space to work to keep out of the elements as much as possible. We will need to walk/trot your horse up so having room to do this is also ideal. Also please ensure other animals are away from the treatment area for safety.

Full payment is required at the conclusion of your session. Payment in advance via invoice can be made by request

Payment via bank transfer, eftpos (incurs a 1.1% fee) or cash.

A cancellation fee of $50 will apply if cancellation is within 24 hours.

Some pet insurance providers will cover physiotherapy. If this is the case you can submit an invoice to them after your session to claim money back. Pet cover is an insurance provider who will cover animal physiotherapy, some others will only cover animal physiotherapy if referred by a vet however. Make sure you read your insurers fine print carefully to see what the terms and conditions are.

Our goal is to ensure that both you and your animal companion feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. If you don’t see your question answered here, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. We’re here to help your pet live a healthier, happier life.
